In the loving memory of our Good friend Tommy . Rest in Peace Tommy Evens Axson

Our hearts are heavy from the loss of our good childhood friend Tommy Evens Axson. We all grew up together in the JRC Steppers  Marching band. If you were from Brooklyn , you knew and heard about this amazing band. Tyrone Brown was the director of the band. He created a family atmosphere where we all bonded and enjoyed life.  We travel all over the USA performing and battling other bands. Tommy Evens Axson was one of the section leader and  and one of the mentors of the band. We all wanted to march and dance like Tommy, because his moves were serious .  He made a huge impact in many of our lives. We will celebrate the wonderful and positive life he lived.

As we strolled down memory lane there was a movie The JRC Steppers was featured in along side Kerry Washington , It was called "Our Song" . In the movie Kerry Washington and Tommy Axson were dating and their chemistry was on point.
