We are happy to present a great inspirational author to you. She is also our aunt and role model , Rolanda T. Pyle.  She has received many awards for her accomplishments . Rolanda T Pyle received The Isaac Liberman Award from the mayor of New York. Rolanda is also  the author of the book, Finally, a collection of inspirational poems (and the "Beneath His Everlasting Wings", a devotional.She is on her way of becoming one of the top Christian Inspirational authors.

ROLANDA T. PYLE is both author and publisher. The name of her press, RoRo's Rainbow Communications, was inspired by her love for rainbows, which remind her that God keeps His promises. The motto is "a word fitly spoken" as found in Proverbs 25:11—"A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pitchers of silver." She prays that the words written in her books will bring encouragement, inspiration and motivation to the readers and that they will truly be "books for the heart and soul."

ROLANDA T. PYLE is a certified social worker and is the Associate Director of the Brookdale Foundation's Relatives as Parents Program. The Brookdale Foundation funds grandparent and other relative caregiver programs nationally. Rolanda is the former director of the New York City Department for the Aging's Grandparent Resource Center where she worked with grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.
The author has also been featured on various radio and television programs. Her numerous awards include the distinguished 2004 Sloan Public Service Award and HBO's 2004 Beah Richards Spirit Award. In April 2004, New York's Daily News named her one of the "100 Women Who Shape Our City."

In addition to her social work and her writing, Rolanda is a notary public, events coordinator, parent trainer and an adoption home study consultant. She also volunteers with the NYC Meals on Wheels Senior Chat program through which she provides companionship through weekly phone conversations with isolated seniors.

She is also the coauthor of the chapter, "Support Groups in the Lives of Grandmothers Raising Grandchildren," in To Grandmother's House We Go and Stay. In addition, she isthe coauthor of the chapter, "Grandparents as Family Caregivers," in the current edition of Encyclopedia of Elder Care, and the author of articles in Narratives of Professional Helping, NASW News (published by the National Association of Social Workers), and Grand magazine. She is also a contributor to the anthologies Gumbo for the Soul: The Recipe For Literacy in the Black Community, Gumbo for the Soul: Here's Our Child, Where's The 
Rolanda’s creative writing has won poetry and short story writing awards, and her work has been published in religious and community newspapers.
The author is an active member of Love Fellowship Church, NY located in Canarsie in Brooklyn, New York, where she serves in several ministries.
