What are you doing to stay Focused ? Here are 5 tips :)

Help to Stay Focus On your Goal

Stay Focus

Remain focused on your own goals. If you stay focused on your own dreams and goals you will accomplish the goals that you truly desire.

Use your God Given Gift

Avoid mimicking other peoples dreams and aspirations. Keep in mind that everyone is different and has been endowed with different skills, talents, gifts, callings and abilities which therefore will produce different goals. Do what you are truly inspired and gifted to do.

Distinguish Your Short and Long Term Goals

Distinguish which goals are short-term and long-term goals. Working on your short-term goals first will give you a sense of accomplishment after completing them enabling you to have the tenacity to accomplish the long-term goals.

Pace Yourself

Use your discretion when accomplishing your goals. Do not overwhelm yourself by trying to do everything all at once. If you feel overwhelmed as you are working on accomplishing your goals, know that it’s okay to take a breather and then start up again a little later.

Organize Yourself

Know that organization is vital. Remember that a “Jack of all trades, master of none, though oft times better than master of one.” If you are a person who has been endowed with many talents, gifts and varied knowledge, it is very important for you to stay organized as you work toward accomplishing your goals. Order in your environment is key to being productive whether you are focusing on one major goal or are a person who has the ability to accomplish many goals.

New York Fashion Week Fall 2011: Prabal Gurung Runway

Prabal Gurung is always a red-carpet favorite — just ask True Grit’s Hailee Steinfeld who absolutely shined in a Gurung gown at the Golden Globes — and this season’s Great Expectations-inspired runway did not disappoint. From ombré furs and impeccably tailored slacks to full-skirted party dresses to a gorgeous iridescent feathered frock — we can’t wait to see them at the Oscars. Gurung’s Fall 2011 collection was deliciously grand, seductive, and filled with just the sort of whimsy that makes New York Fashion Week truly delightful.

Charlotte Ronson Fall 2011 New York Fashion Week Runway

An army-green palette dominated Charlotte Ronson's military-inspired Fall collection, which saw models strut down the runway in wide-leg pants and chunky mustard knits. Shredded tights and hints of leather finalized the '90s-esque ensembles, while tiny braids and side-swept hair made for an intriguing beauty look.

New York Fashion Week Fall 2011: Edun Runway

For eco-friendly line Edun's fall 2011 collection, designers Ali Hewson — Bono's wife — and Sharon Wauchob, inspired by a recent trip to Kenya, branched out from their usual neutral palette and incorporated vivid blue, green, and mustard hues. Silky landscape-print dresses were juxtaposed by signature thick knits to create decidedly wearable ensembles with an effortless day-to-night air.

New York Fashion Week Fall 2011: BCBGMaxazria Runway

For Fall 2011 Max and Lubov Azria opted for a minimalist approach to dressing, spiked with a touch of that '70s vibe. Fluid, unfussy dresses were accented by low-slung belts and stacked-heel boots, while bold brights were mixed into perk up streamlined silhouettes. We swooned for the vibrant blue and red hues, but watch the whole show here to see which looks you can’t live without!

New York Fashion Week Fall 2011: Mara Hoffman Runway

Filled with signature ethnic prints, diaphanous kimono dresses, and chunky knits, Mara Hoffman's Fall 2011 collection is spot-on for the boho-chic set. Tassel detailing and chiffon hoods provided further intrigue, while romantic side-braids finished off the looks. For a closer peek at this evocative and mystical collection — and the chunky All For the Mountain jewels

New York Fashion Week 2011: Vena Cava Runway

Vena Cava's Fall 2011 collection was a delicious ode to '90s fashion, chock-full of cutout dresses and floor-length silhouettes. We love the moody-hued palette and gold tribal chokers that topped off the clean, stream-lined looks. Check out the full runway coverage for more.

5 Power Foods for Women

If you’re serious about getting that body in shape, you’re going to need to adjust your diet so that you incorporate these power-foods into your diet. Check out five of our favorite any time foods.

1. Avocados. These babies contain lots of fiber and oleic acid, an unsaturated fat that can help lower cholesterol and raise your HFL. Not to mention, they taste great with any salad.

2. Raisins. These chewy little pieces of heaven are a great source of iron, which our bodies need to help blood transport oxygen. A lot of us women lack the proper amount of iron, which makes this snack a healthy choice.

3. Yogurt. Besides coming in lots of delicious flavors, this popular food contains live active cultures that help to prevent yeast infections and lots of calcium which strengthens bones.

4. Tomatoes. Because these contain Lycopene, tomatoes act as an antioxidant to your body. With no fat and about a gram of fiber, this can be an easy power food to work into your daily diet.

5. Peanuts. Studies show that peanuts can lower your heart disease risk by around 20%. An ounce of these bite sized nuts has 166 calories and about 14 grams of fat – perfect for a handy, purse ready, healthy snack on-the-go.

Cheers to healthy living !!
